We will set the Beacon Halls up ‘cabaret style’ – tables of 4 or 6\, BYOB\, get together with friends and family\, sing along\, all welcome.  \nThis classic film musical with score by Irving Berlin is essential pre-christmas viewing with a stellar cast and classic songs including White Christmas\, Sisters\, Snow and Gee\, I Wish I Was Back in the Army. \nSingers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There\, they run into Gen. Waverly (Dean Jagger)\, the boys’ commander in World War II\, who\, they learn\, is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing. DESCRIPTION:Come along to the Beacon Play Cafe (12.00 – 1.30PM) every Monday. \nThe café will be open and there is a dedicated space for pre-schoolers to play\, we have plenty buggy space and staff will be on hand for a blether.  The café is a great place to meet with other parents/carers\, and make new friends. We have highchairs available and plenty changing facilities. \nWe are always looking for donations of resources/play equipment so we can mix it up. DESCRIPTION:GrowGetters is a children’s gardening club for those age 7 and under*. The event is free. So if you know any children who love to get their hands dirty\, want to learn and explore nature\, the outdoors\, plants this is for them. Please come along\, you can book below. \nThe session on the 2nd of October is all about growing plants for free (collecting seeds from fruits\, vegetables\, and flowers\, taking cuttings from house and garden plants). And\, hopefully\, a little bit of willow structure building. \n*parents/carers to attend/stay with child(ren).
