DESCRIPTION:This baby first aid course is being organised and run by Precious People Training and is being held at the Gorebridge Beacon. \nThis course is suitable for anyone who would like to have a basic child and baby First Aid understanding. Whether you are a parent\, parent to be\, grand parent\, auntie\, uncle\, brother\, sister\, babysitter or carer. This training really is perfect for everyone. \nThe 2 hour session will teach you how to deal confidently with accidents\, emergencies and illnesses involving babies and children. \nDuring the 2 hours we will look at: \n\nTreatment of an unconscious child and the fast effective use of the Recovery Position\nChild and baby Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)\nBleeding and Shock\nChoking recognition and treatment\nHead injuries\nFever\nFebrile Seizures\nDrowning\nBurns\nAnaphylaxis\nMeningitis\n\nOur classes are small and friendly in a relaxed environment… no tests or embarrassing role play.
