DESCRIPTION:Greening Gorebridge would like to invite you to attend their community Science/Climate Change themed Ceilidh to celebrate the opening of the Gorebridge Community Fridge. \n\n\n \n\n\nhttp://www.scienceceilidh.com\n\n\n \n\n\nThe Gorebridge Community Fridge will help divert good quality produce from landfill by working with various partners and having it available to all in the community. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe will ‘strip the leaf'(science version of strip the willow)\, followed by a vegetarian supper.\n\n\n \n\n\nDuring the evening we will also host our monthly Clothes Swap and repair Cafe. \n\n\n \n\n\nBring along a selection of good quality\, CLEAN and gently worn clothing items that you no longer wear to swap for something NEW TO YOU. Womens and men’s clothing PLUS childrens clothes welcome. \n\n\n \n\n\nAlso welcome- Accessories- handbags\, gently worn shoes\, costume jewellery etc. **All sizes of clothing welcome**\n\n\n \n\n\nJoin our fabulous clothes mender Kiki and she will show you how to and help you repair and mend your lovely clothes\, helping to keep them in use and being dearly loved for a lot longer.\n\n\n \n\n\nTake up hems/rehem trousers and skirts\n\n\n \n\n\nSew on a button so it’s less likely to fall of… AGAIN!\n\n\n \n\n\nMend or patch holes in your favourite jeans\, tops or shirts. \n\n\n \n\n\nBring items such as: tops\, trousers\, jeans\, shirts\, jackets\, socks\, jumpers\, towels\, blankets\, etc

Start swapping! 😉\n\n\n \n\n\nWhen you arrive we will weigh the items you bring. \n\n\nBefore you leave we will weigh the items you have claimed- These weights are very important as they get recorded as a carbon saving and are then reported to our funders.
