Who: Annie Lord is a Midlothian-based artist and writer. For this block she will be sharing/tutoring 'Drawing from Nature'. After studying at the Slade in London she returned home to Scotland to develop a practice which includes drawing, community-based projects and public artworks. She is particularly inspired by the natural world and uses drawing as a way to unveil the beauty and wonder in her local landscape. Annie has worked with Connecting Threads, Collective Gallery, Art Walk Projects and Forth Rivers Trust.
This creative activity is part of Our Place, Our Place is all about celebrating people, place and creativity. Ideas are given the space, time, resources and support of Gorebridge Community Development Trust to launch creative activities, workshops, events, showcases and gather our communities together.
