We would love to welcome you to the Beacon Community Cafe. We are open for breakfast, lunch, cakes and really great coffee Tuesday- Saturday 9AM until 2PM.
At the Beacon Community Café, we serve good quality, nutritious and delicious food that’s also extremely good value for money. It is run by qualified staff and supported by many dedicated volunteers. We are also committed to training two young people from the local area each year. The Beacon café is more than food ; it is a community. Every visitor to our café is included, welcomed and provides crucial support towards the Beacon becoming a place of learning and training.
If you want to find out more about what we do, or or find out more about volunteering then please feel to pop in for a chat or to email info@gorebridgebeacon.org.uk.

We offer:
- Sit in and take-away items
- Regular events within the space including a drop-in craft group on Tuesday afternoon.
- Guest wi-fi for homeworkers who want to escape the spare room!
About our food:
- We use food from our Community Garden where possible.
- We are working as hard as we can to reduce waste and are involved in food waste projects.
What are we trying to do?
- Create a space that is friendly, inclusive, safe and welcoming
- Provide training for local young people and volunteer opportunities for those wishing to enter hospitality - or want to connect with others.
- Host community events and gatherings
- Support the community by offering volunteering and employability opportunities
