The Ideal Children's Party Venue - With a Social Conscious.
We have a large, bright, airy hall, perfect for children to let off some steam. On sunny days we can open the doors onto a large patio area with plenty picnic tables if you want to invite the outside in.
Our Community Cafe is open Tuesday to Saturday, ideal for parents of party-goes to sit and enjoy a coffee in peace!
We benefit from great transport links, with bus stops just outside, the borders rail link minutes away and plenty of parking to the rear of the leisure centre.
Banquette style seating for party guests is provided and there is an option to add a bouncy castle should you chose. Facilities staff remain on-site to ensure the safe use of the venue during your event.
The BEST reason for using the Beacon? Funds raised from our hall hire go back into the Beacon running costs, not shareholders! A social enterprise facility that benefits the community!
Bouncy Castle Hire
We can provide a bouncy castle (under 11's) packaged with hall hire. The hirer remains responsible for its use at all times.
Entertainment and Catering
You are of course welcome to bring in entertainers. We have a list of local suppliers so please get in touch if you need help with this, or indeed would like to be added as a supplier.
We do not have a kitchen available for public use but you are welcome to bring in your own catering.
Times and Prices
Party slots run from either 11.00-13.30 or 14.30-17.00, this two and a half hour slot is inclusive of set up and clean up.
