Take part in the 1st Great Beacon Bake Off on Saturday 28th September and put your whisking, mixing and decorating skills to the test. Entry forms can be downloaded below, or pop into the Beacon to pick one up.

Enter one or all of the following categories:

  • YOUTH BAKERS (UNDER 18’S)

£3 per adult entry, Youth Bakers are free

Judging will take place between 12 – 1, and the Bake Sale between 1 – 2.

This is a community event, a veterinary nurse will carry out a basic health check, which includes checking eyes, ears, teeth and weight, to make sure your dog is happy, fit and healthy. Alongside the health check, the team will provide advice on diet, training and neutering. Each owner will be provided with a responsible dog ownership pack, including handy tips and useful resources for you to continue to use at home.

The Community Events team offer free on-the-spot microchipping for dogs that aren’t yet chipped (microchipping is a legal requirement as of April 2016). They can also advise you about changing your microchip details should it be needed.
