Tuesday Textile TLC- Repair cafe

An event every month that begins at 9:30 am on day First of the month, repeating until 5th March 2019
Join our expert mender Kiki so she can show you how to make simple and effective repairs to your favourite clothing and textiles.
Repairing our clothes means keeping them being worn and loved for longer and keeping them out of landfill by reusing instead of recycling or binning.
“Extending the average life of clothes by just three months of active use per item would
lead to a 5-10% reduction in each of the carbon, water and waste footprints”
Suitable for beginners.
Please just drop-in during the morning. It may be busy so first come- first served, and there may be a wait.
