White Christmas (4th Dec)

This true Christmas classic is full of laughter, dance and of course the beloved holiday song, ‘White Christmas’. A romantic, dazzling musical starring Bing Crosby, it has delighted audiences for more than 60 years and never fails to entertain.

Come and join us on the 4th December as we show White Christmas. We will set the Beacon Halls up ‘cabaret style’ – tables of 4 or 6, BYOB, get together with friends and family, sing along, all welcome. 

This classic film musical with score by Irving Berlin is essential pre-christmas viewing with a stellar cast and classic songs including White Christmas, Sisters, Snow and Gee, I Wish I Was Back in the Army.

Singers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly (Dean Jagger), the boys’ commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing. So what’s the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that’s sure to put Waverly and his business in the black!
