We are really excited to announce Our Place. 

Our Place is all about celebrating people, place and creativity. Ideas are given the space, time, resources and support of Gorebridge Community Development Trust to launch creative activities, workshops, events, showcases and gather our communities together. From art to dance, drama to film making, photography to script writing, painting to makers circles, creative writing to clowning, stand up comedy workshops to skills sharing, Our Place will offer activities for everyone to take part in.

Starting in February 2026, with funding from Inspiring Scotland through their 'Creative Communities' grant, Our Place will launch a series of projects that will come together to showcase, exhibit, perform and display.  Our Place will gather momentum, and we will support creative ideas and bring them to life. We welcome ideas from anyone based in and around Gorebridge who are looking to get people together in a variety of ways.

What to Expect:

1. Lots of opportunities for you to engage in creative arts and for you to have fun and feel joy and pride.

2. Bringing us all together, building connections and reducing loneliness.

3. Have fun while developing a wide range of improved skills for life, learning and work.
